Refund & Cancellation Policy — Golden Horizon Solutions Limited

Golden Horizon Solutions Limited provides digital and IT-related services including software development, IT consulting, website services, cloud solutions, maintenance, and technical support. Due to the nature of these services, our refund and cancellation policies differ from traditional product return policies.

Services & Engagement

All services are delivered based on written proposals, project scopes, quotations, or agreements accepted by the client. Work begins after onboarding completion, required documentation, and upfront payments (where applicable).

Refund Eligibility for IT Services

Refunds may be considered only under the following limited circumstances:

  • Work has not been initiated, and no onboarding or resource allocation has been done.
  • Cancellation within 7 days of purchase for services yet to commence.
  • Failure to deliver agreed-upon milestones, without response or resolution from our side.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Services partially or fully rendered.
  • Time-based or retainer model services.
  • Consultation, strategy, design, research, or discovery sessions.
  • Digital deliverables once provided (such as designs, source code, documentation, or configurations).
  • Third-party tools, software licenses, hosting, domains, or cloud costs.
  • Custom-built software, integrations, or tailored solutions.

Digital & Custom Projects

Most of our services involve customization. Due to this, all custom development, website work, application development, integrations, branding, and IT consulting are non-refundable once work has started.

Project Cancellation by Client

If a client decides to cancel a project after work begins:

  • Completed work up to the cancellation date will be billed.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • In cases of prepaid projects, remaining unused hours (if applicable) may be credited towards future services at our discretion.

Third-Party Services

Services involving hosting, domains, SSL, software licenses, cloud providers, APIs, or third-party platforms follow respective vendor refund policies. We do not guarantee refunds from third-party providers.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds (if any) will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after confirmation and review.
